Chiropractic utilizes a variety of diagnostic and treatment approaches, including: history, exam, and conservative musculoskeletal treatments (spinal adjustments, extremity adjustments, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise). For patients with symptoms, the goal of chiropractic is to figure out why you are having your symptoms and then to implement changes to your body or your lifestyle to reduce or eliminate those symptoms. Ideally, chiropractic is used as a preventive measure, to help mitigate the risk of symptoms showing up in the first place. A strong therapeutic alliance between you and your provider is recommended to help you reach your symptom-free, active lifestyle goals.

Chris was born in New York City and he grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania. Involved in sports from early childhood, he grew up playing tennis, basketball, soccer, baseball, football, and table tennis. In high school he ran cross country, indoor track, and played tennis. In college he played Division III tennis at Grove City College where he was team captain his junior and senior years.

During his collegiate career Chris sustained injuries that would ultimately lead to a change in his career path. A sprained ankle from basketball, trying to juke his defender too much, and a partially torn TFCC ligament, from the repetitive overuse nature of tennis, led to some serious need for skilled therapy. Those injuries combined with a rigorous training/tournament schedule led to lots of treatment from lots of different providers. An anatomy professor with a degree in Osteopathic Medicine was the first to introduce Chris to spinal adjustments, which led to the fastest recovery he had ever experienced. Immediately after that first treatment Chris decided to forgo his projected career path in Forensic Psychology and investigated chiropractic schools instead. The prospect of utilizing the hand-eye-coordination skills from a lifetime of tennis and athletics towards a career that helps people with their physical health felt like a match made in heaven.

Chris is excited to treat patients in the most convenient way possible, with mobile, at-home delivery based services through Chiro Nucleus. In his treatments, Chris specializes in postural, repetitive motion, and sports injuries. He enjoys motivating people to learn how to become pain free and move more efficiently by utilizing a wide variety of therapeutic approaches.

When Chris is not treating patients he enjoys anything that involves life-long learning, healthy competition, and a social community - specifically: dog parks/hikes with Kitana (Australian Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix), working out, running, tennis, pickleball, table tennis, badminton, basketball, ultimate frisbee, disc golf, and strategy games like League of Legends, Magic the Gathering, and Chess. Recently, Chris has been training 3-5 days/week at the Hub in Silicon Valley to prepare for a run at Pickleball nationals in 2024. A meniscus tear sidelined him for the 2022 and 2023 season, so he’s eager to compete again this year!
